9:54 pm - Bali Day 3

Ok... we got tonnes more pictures of the kids swimming... coz Aunty Jamie "lost" her son to Uncle CW. So, she didn't even have to go into the pool, and could join me up on dry land!

We thought today would be THE day we get our bums out of the villa and go see some sights. We've heard about the elephant safari, the monkey forest, the bat caves and what-nots. But the inertia, and of coz the pool, proved too great. We found ourselves back in after breakfast! (it was a breakfast of Dunkin' Donuts we bought at Kuta... i so miss them!)

The kids had a macaroni lunch again, and it was back to the same restaurant for lunch in Sanur town. Yes, the food and ambience was just so great! And after lunch, a very tired and grouchy Ignatius FINALLY pooped in his diapers. We had borrowed Yi Xuan's red potty the afternoon before in an attempt to get him to move his bowels, as his last poop was on Thursday, but to no avail. And of course Bali has no diaper changing facilities in their restaurants. It was a painful affair cleaning up a toddler with 3 days' load in the diapers, standing up. Not to mention exhausted grouchy toddler.

After we satisfied our tummies, the kids went back to the villa for their nap. The adults were really looking forward to the evening as there will be a bbq!

While we were still horsing around in the pool, the chef and his helpers came in to set up the bbq and the dining table. It was heaven being pampered like that. Soon, the smells of barbeque seafood wafted through the air, and our hungry stomachs prompted us to hop out and wash up! Here's a pic of the bbq. Of course, there was more food than this, but we were too busy putting it away in our tummies! They even had desserts for us, chocolate mousse and apple pie with ice cream, but we were too full! It was scrumptious, and we didn't even have to wash up! Truly the only way to enjoy a barbeque!
While the adults were busy polishing off the food, the toddlers had truly warmed up to each other, and were playing WITH each other in the living room. Someone came up with the idea of pushing the trains around the chair, and they each had one train in hand (after a little squabble over who gets which one) and were following each other around and around the chair. It was a most heartwarming sight to watch. It made me almost think that having twins/triplets were a good idea. ALMOST. haha
It wasn't long before it was bedtime again. Sigh... our last night in Bali. Needless to say, our movements were getting more and more reluctant and more and more retarded... no one wanted it to end!
