6:02 pm - Stacking

Other babies stack blocks, pots, pans. You know, the usual. Initially, I did fret (slightly) that my boy is not inclined towards blocks and bricks... After all, intricate motor skills like that develop key parts of his brain. However, I gave up fretting after a while.

Well, the little rascal surprised us all last night. He doesn't stack bricks nor blocks nor pots nor pans... but, he will stack CARS!!!

Daddy bought him a few cars from the DisneyPixar movie Cars.

He had 3 of them with him last night and proceded to stack them one on top of the other. I tell, this is no mean feat! The tops of the cars were polished and curved, and he was more unsuccessful than successful. But he persevered, and he did it a couple of times! He even managed to "vroom" the base car around, without causing the top 2 to topple!

Well, I guess now I know better. It wasn't so much that he couldn't do it, but more of he wasn't interested enough to do it! Ok...next time I know. Have to explore different mediums
