12:23 pm - Fighter

My boy's a fighter.

3 weeks ago, he came down with a cold. The usual runny nose, fever, etc. But he didn't complain. His behavious was as usual, eating slightly less, but still as bouncy.

1 week later, we brought him to a GP (who, in my books, is a quack!), who said we were over anxious, and pls don't bring him back unless his dripping thick green mucous 24/7. I insisted on something to dry the nose and something for his phlegmy cough. The doc agreed, but sad to say his medicine is as quack as him.

Ignatius' cough went from phlegmy to dry. But when he breathes, there is still a phlegmy gurgly sound.

It just didn't sound good. But the boy was still all over the place, and eating was back to normal.

Brought him to another (trusted) GP yesterday, and he was diagnosed with bronchitis! Luckily it had not progressed to the point when he had to be on the nebulizer. Some asthma medicine, and bronchitis cough mixture, and we were out of there. With him still as hyper as ever.

However, since starting on his new course of medication, he's been acting slightly sluggish and appetite has waned a little. Hope it's coz those meds are fighting the nasty baddie germs in his lungs!

Damn those quack GPs. Sigh.
