5:52 pm - Beach Outing

It was the Balloonhat Festival at Sentosa, and there were supposed to be parades and animal shows. The toddlers dated each other, but only Matthew, Yi Xuan and Ignatius turned up. Cayden and Joshua had runny ends.

Well, Ignatius didn't see no animals, and only a pathetic parade. And Daddy & Mommy didn't see the HUGE WAVE that came crashing into Ignatius. The poor boy. And he was so excited to see the sea that he walked right in. Only to have the wave break right onto his face and above his head. Needless to say, he didn't want to go in after that! Poor poor boy.

So we spent the rest of the time playing with sand and eating biscuits (and probably some sand as well). Matthew was late, so Ignatius had a nice beach date with Yi Xuan! Somehow, I think the sandplay photos look much nicer with 2 babies in them, rather than 1 lonely one. *grin*

After, the toddlers had to be showered. They had such fun!

Matthew joined then and we all settled down for some snacks.

After that, Ignatius got really tired as he had been awake for more than 5hours. And he wanted his dinner as well. So we whisked him home for some chow and shut eye. (both which he later protested to as he was way past his hunger and sleepy endurance limits)

Can't wait for the next beach outing! We'll watch out for that wave. Promise.
