11:40 am - child safe gate

drats... the safety gate that we put across the kitchen opening is now... defunct.
it's supposed to keep out children till they get to about 3plus yrs old.
but my dear ignatius has figured out a way to open the bloody door by himself, without having to press both the top and bottom latches together to release the safety catch.

ARGH!
