Day 7 was meant to be all about Perth City and Shopping!
We started out the day at King's Park. We wanted to start out bright and early, and finish by about 10.30am, then a round of shopping. However, due to some plan shuffling (the adults wanted to go casino!) we ended up only reaching King's Park around 10am. It was HOT HOT HOT!
We started out in the corner where there was a children's playground and a pond. Ignatius loved it! I must say the playgrounds are much more child friendly here. The steps are not as high, they are wider, and the railings are at a height which the little ones can actually reach! Here are some lovely shots that Daddy took of Ignatius and Mommy. Thanks Daddy!

After that, we headed to HarbourTown for some discount shopping. Gong Gong and Por Por kindly offered to babysit for us, and we went off for a spot of couple shopping time. I was told that Ignatius was king for that period, eating what he wanted, getting his sweet drinks, and roaming everywhere! He even got Por Por to buy him a Bob the Builder activity book! After we met up again, we had some snacks as we were all hungry...even the little one it seems!
Here he is eating Kao Fu's ice cream!

I just realised that the dates on the above photos are all wrong... it should read 15 Dec!

For Day 8, 16 Dec, it was a laze around day. We went to return the rental cars and wanted to do more shopping in Perth City, but it was too hot, and Ignatius was too tired. So it was laze at home till time for dinner and airport!
Here's how the car looked like after the Roo accident. It doesn't look like much, but the whole right corner was bumped in. Our windscreen wiper bottle under the hood was dislocated. The driver's door had to be pushed open with quite a bit of force as the side of the car was dented as well.

Some last photos at my aunt's place while we were lazing around.

It was a good flight home as Ignatius slept just before our supper arrived! We could eat supper in peace! Yeah! The only rain on the parade was we left sunny Perth to arrive back to the wettest period Singapore had known in a long long time!
