So we came home early, and started on our task. I've made pancakes with Ignatius before... so he knew the drill.
He helped put the flour and dry ingredients into the mixing bowl. And i measured out the water, eggs and butter for him. He expertly poured the wet ingredients in, and started mixing away. He's pretty good at it!
After that, it was time to put the batter into the cones. Here's where everything started to go a little wrong. Ignatius was in charge of taking the cones out of the wrapping and hand them to me. Guess what? He started "taxing" the cones before passing them to me... he was taking a bite out of each cone! Horrors! It definitely would not look good if the cones had a hole here and there!
Then came mixing the little round coloured candy bits into the frosting. He couldn't wait. He had been asking me to open the candy bits bottle the whole time, and when i did, he dumped the whole bottle into the frosting! I had to painstakingly scoop out the excess. In the mean time, he had tonnes of fun licking the fallen bits from the table... God i hope the table is clean!
So anyway, FINALLY the cupcake cones went into the oven. That's where Ignatius lost interest. All in all, i think the end product is pretty good! Happy Teacher's Day!
