4:21 pm - The 3 musketeers again!

After Ignatius' party, is Cayden's! So we decided to meet up to pass Cayden the mylars. We decided to head back to our fav haunt, Botanical Gardens.

Aunty Jamie decided to head for the Bukit Timah Core, Eco-Lake. Yellow X marks the spot on the map below. We didn't realise there were 3 lakes in Botanical Gardens, so there was some confusion before we finally met up. To make it worse, there were black swans at Eco-Lake, so Aunty Jamie called it the swan lake. This resulted in Aunty Lih Miin going to the Swan Lake (yes the Swan Lake exists in the Tanglin Core) which is at the OTHER end of Botanical Gardens.

Well, alls well that ends well...or so we thought! When Aunty Lih Miin finally got to us, guess what? It rained! If you notice, in our last few outings to Botanical Gardens, Aunty Lih Miin and Yi Xuan invariably brought Mr. Rain along! =)

Anyway, before it really got wet, the little kiddos had great fun. Ignatius kept wanting to walk, and Daddy brought him to look at the swans and turtles. Cayden woke up from his nap, and was in a good mood. Yi Xuan was a little grouchy as she was having the runs.

All the babies loved the bubbles that Uncle Joash blew!

After that, we headed to nearby Farrer Court for some Westlake Kong Ba Bao. We witnessed our first "baby-puke". We've long heard about babies retching out what they eat because of various reasons...the food is not fine enough, the food tastes bad, they're not hungry, they're simply being difficult... But, we've never seen it. (Ignatius knows better than to waste good food.) Aunty Lih Miin decided to let Yi Xuan try some of Cayden's pork/apple porridge, home cooked by Aunty Jamie. Yi Xuan took one mouthful, scrunched her face, and immediately puked it back out. It truly did look like a feat worthy of Merlion standards from my viewing angle! And it also proved that those catch-all bibs do work after all! (we have one, but Ignatius has never put it to use) *wide Grin* so...was it the food? or was it the disagreeable baby? ... ... *wider Grin*

Let's see, YX eats pork porridge with no prob. YX likes apples and can eat half a pureed apple at one go, after her porridge meal. So why did she puke? ... hmmm! :D

All I can say is Cayden is a very filial son who appreciates his mum's cooking! haha!
