Daddy & Mommy grabbed this chance and headed to East Coast Park this morning. We arrived at 8.45am...and NONE of the bicycle rental shops were open! Finally we found one at MacDonald's opening his stall at 8.55am...and promptly rented the bike with the front baby seat. We then headed to Bedok Jetty.

Ignatius had no problems adjusting to the seat...but Daddy & Mommy were a bit wobbly at first. Mommy took Iggy on her bike first.

At first he sat quite obediently...but slowly started to hum along to the sound of the wind in his ears ... "mmmm....mmmm...mmmm". Then started to bounce in his seat! When he started to bend over his baby seat to stare at the wheels...Mommy decided to pass the little rascal over to Daddy.

By the time we reached Bedok Jetty, Ignatius was starting to get a little tired. Even the sight of little fishes flapping around on the Jetty floor, caught by the many anglers, did not fascinate him. He was briefly mesmerized by the shimmering emerald surface of the sea. So...Daddy pedalled faster than the wind back to the bicycle rental shop...leaving Mommy really winded behind them. =P
After returning the bicycles, we dropped by the children's playground at MacDonald's...

but Ignatius was too pooped to do anything but sit on the slides and hold up the queues. So we bundled him into the car, and he napped on the way home.
