11:06 pm - Baby in a toystore

Question: When was the last time you let loose a toddling toddler in a toystore?

Answer: 8 April 2006!

Hang on for the 2hour long ride!

Pre-Stop: Basement of Forum Shopping Mall Julia Gabriel was having a road show. One of their teachers was singing and strumming a guitar. Boy was he good. Ignatius watched, and kind of copied their movements (it was an action song). Then out came Sun1 Wu2 Kong1 (The Monkey God) and banged his stick on the stage LOUDLY, and Ignatius got scared and cried. Show spoiler.
Anyway, we liked it so much we actually enquired about their childcare program. Too bad it didn't work out.

First Stop: Babies'R'Us
This is the baby toy section of Toys'R'Us. He headed straight for the Ride to Stride walker. This was his favourite the last time we let him loose at the Baby's section as well. This is the only ride-on he actually rides on, instead of sitting by the side and playing with the wheels! We thought about buying it...but decided against since he'll be outgrowing it soon.

Second Stop: Plush toys and Girly stuff

Mommy spotted this lovely hairband!

He found a bulldozer ride-on...and proceeded to fit himself into the scraper bucket in front, rather than onto the seat. Wonder what it was doing in the soft toys section. And simply because there was a TV promoting the girly toys, he was stuck there for quite some time as well.

Third Stop: Auto World
This is a nightmare! We were stuck here for majority of the 2hrs. The walls and walkways were plastered with CARS and TRUCKS and BUSES and DUMPSTERS and what have you. AND THEY ALL HAD WHEELS!!! We moved abt 2feet at a time. Excrutiating.

One day Mommy, I'm gonna own the whole set!

Here's the Kawasaki tricycle from the FisherPrice family. His legs weren't exactly long enough to reach the floor on both sides...Yet.

Well, this outing is a break from our usual of Botanical Gardens and such, thanks to the rain. Hope we're back to our usual transmission soon!
