Saturday dawned bright and cheery, and Ignatius woke early and chirpy as well. We had our breakfast and whisked him away to the Botanical Gardens. If you recall, we've been there twice. Once when he was about 5-6mths old, and the last time with his bunch of baby friends.
When we reached, parking was a headache. Little did we know that many families actually made a brisk walk at Botanical Gardens as part of their morning regime. We arrived at the Central Core and walked towards the Bukit Timah Core. Only as Mommy was writing this entry did she realise that Botanical Gardens was so big! We will try and cover the Tanglin Core next time. Our path this morning is traced in Pink.
The highlight of the day should be when we were at the Symphony Lake. There were many groups of families feeding the fishes and ducks and turtles. Ignatius stood at the pond's edge and was mesmerized by the fishes jumping out of the water to snatch pieces of bread from the ducks. He even managed to say "Tdur-Tul" and "Ducks"!
We think the next highlight was when we were taking a shortcut through the staff carpark. Ignatius suddenly sprang to life in his stroller and went "Woand woand!" and strained to look at all the cars and their wheels! ("Woand Woand" comes from the song "The wheels on the bus". He loves it, and sings "woand woand" with us). We think we'll buy him more toy cars.
