But we've not logged down his words...so here goes.
Bus & Bird. Basically, these sound the same to us, "BAH" or "BER". But he sure knows what he's looking at.
Bear. His favourite bolster has pictures of these. "BEAR". Quite accurate.
Flower. His favourite word. Impresses strangers the most. "LAO-ER"
Good. Strangely, he says words starting with G with his mouth closed. "GNDD" Lately, he's started to try and imitate our thumbs-up sign. His thumb is only half sticking out.
Daddy. Needless to explain this. "DA-DAE"
Jared. This is his cousin. "AIR-RE"
Ah Pek. This is his uncle, or Daddy's brother. "PEY"
Lion. Not sure why, but one of his favourite animals. "EYE-EN"
Orange. Not too good at this yet. "ORRR-LEN"
Ernie. We know this guy from Sesame Street. "AR-NEY"
Elmo. This red monster from Sesame Street. "AAL-MO"
Where. He usually says this when we hide things. "WAIR" Usually accompanied by a hand action, raised hands, open and close palms.
There. He says this after he discovers where we've hidden things. "DAIR"
Taxi. This is a new one! "KAK-THI"
Wiper. This came about during the recent rainy seaon as he watches the windscreen wiper go swish swish swish on the car. "AI-PERE"
Off. He has the most dumbfounded expression as he says this when the lights go off. "OOFFFFFF"
Light. He loves lights even as a wee 2mth old infant. "AIGHT"
Baby. He loves to stare at other babies, forgetting that he himself is one! "BAE-BEY"
Eyes. He loves to poke out your eyes when he says this. "AYEETH"
I'm sure the list we've put here is not exhaustive...i hope! His repertoire of words grow week by week...and i'm sure soon he'll be one chatterbox. =)
