9:43 pm - Mooncake Day

Ignatius' childcare Mooncake celebrations started at 5pm. Unfortunately, both Daddy and Mommy had to work late. Daddy reached home to pick up Ignatius at about 5.45pm. They then headed over to school. I was told that Ignatius cried upon arrival, probably thinking we were going to leave him there again. He insisted on being carried, and refused to participate in the activities.

Mommy arrived at about 6.30pm. He continued to want to be carried. He only agreed to come down after Daddy tempted him with mooncakes! He wouldn't go onto the trampoulines, he wouldn't hold his lantern and join in the parade, he wouldn't ...anything!

Mommy and Ignatius had a nice picture taken...let's see if I can get it from the childcare centre.

To update on his day there, the teachers told me he had progressed well, and hardly needed any carrying. I was pleased, but we were all wondering if he would hold up so well on Monday, after a break of 2 days...

Let's see!
